Support the Bermudez Family

Germantown, MD

Story

While we were celebrating the end of a school year and kicking off the summer, the Bermudez family – parents to five kids, including fellow Maryvale classmate, Mical – has been facing an incredibly difficult journey as their 5-year-old daughter, Tamara, bravely battles leukemia. As they navigate countless hospital visits to Johns Hopkins, treatments, and emotional stress, we want to come together as a community to lift them up in love and support. We're organizing a meal train/care calendar, along with options to give through donations or by sharing your time. Every little bit helps lighten their load so they can focus on what matters most: caring for Tamara and each other.

Special Notes

Tamara is your typical outgoing 5 year old, who loves to eat chicken nuggets, fries, pasta, fruits and veggies. All the kids love Chick-fil-a and have no allergies. The family does most their grocery shopping at Walmart. This page has been organized by Jillian Potter, a Maryvale French Immersion parent and room parent to Mme Nicimpaye's Kindergarten class.
