Kelly has always been the kind of person who’s full of energy and determination. She loves running; it’s her time to clear her head and stay strong. Ironically, it was running that led to the discovery of something that would change everything. After months of waiting to see specialists and scheduling delays, Kelly finally underwent surgery on September 10th. A few weeks later, on September 25th, her biopsy came back abnormal. A full-body scan revealed more abnormal cells in her femur and hip bone. The biopsy results showed signs of a rare tumor. Now, Kelly underwent another major surgery on October 21st, where she received a total hip replacement and proximal femur replacement. It was an enormous procedure, and she faces a long road of recovery and physical therapy ahead. As if that weren’t enough, Kelly has also been dealing with job loss and financial uncertainty. In May 2025, she lost her job when Crozer Hospital closed, completely out of her control. She was hired for a new position, but because she hadn’t yet reached 90 days of employment, she doesn’t qualify for short-term disability benefits. This means she will be without income while recovering, possibly for up to six months. Kelly is a devoted mom to three amazing young children who depend on her: meals, comfort, love, and stability. She is strong, but right now Ronnie and her needs a village. Kelly is the proud mom of three wonderful kids, and while she focuses on healing, we’re organizing this page to help make her and Ronnie's days a little easier and her home feel supported.
