Hello everyone, As many of you may know, Dede was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. Unfortunately, the cancer has spread, and she is now receiving hospice care at her sister Sandy’s home. Just a few weeks after beginning hospice, Sandy’s wife, Brit, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Since September 8th, Brit has been in the hospital receiving daily cancer treatments. During this incredibly difficult time, Sandy has been making two trips to the hospital each day to visit Brit and bring her dinner, all while caring for Dede at home. I started this meal train in hopes of taking some of the stress off Sandy and their family and giving them one less thing to worry about. At this time, they are accepting home-cooked meals and gas gift cards. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and will help support their family during this challenging time. If you’re unable to contribute, we completely understand.
