Dear KSU Community, On behalf of the Part-Time Faculty Council, we wish to share the sad news that Tom Wichman, a longtime and deeply important part of the life of our colleague Yvonne Wichman, passed away on January 10 after a long battle with lung cancer. Yvonne is the founding president of the Part-Time Faculty Council, and we extend our sincere condolences to her and her family during this time of profound loss. As she continues to grieve, she is also recovering from recent back surgery, which currently limits her mobility. We ask that you keep her in your thoughts and extend grace and understanding as she takes the time and space she needs to heal and care for herself. Tom’s memorial service has been postponed and will now be held on Saturday, February 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Unity North Atlanta Church in Marietta.
