On February 23rd, our local law enforcement officers and EMS teams worked tirelessly to keep our community safe during an incredibly demanding day. While most of us were at home with our families, they were on the front lines responding to a very stressful situation. Many lives were changed. Let’s show our love and support to those that deserve it everyday, not just today. Their work often goes unseen, but it never goes unfelt. The long hours, emotional weight, and physical exhaustion they carry are part of a commitment they make to protect and serve all of us — without hesitation. I am putting together a gift card drive as a small but meaningful way to say thank you. This is our opportunity as a community to show appreciation, provide a simple gesture of relief, and remind them that their dedication does not go unnoticed.
