Our beloved Meg has been quietly and bravely battling a long journey with polycystic kidney disease. Many of you may not have realized the depth of what she’s been going through because Meg, in her true selfless way, always puts on a smile, stays positive, and shows up for everyone else no matter what she’s facing. She’s the friend who is always there when you need her, and now it’s our turn to be there for her and her amazing family. On Thursday, August 21st, Meg will face a life-changing surgery. Both of her kidneys will be removed, and her sister will be donating one of her own to give Meg a second chance at health. This will mark the beginning of a long healing journey ❤️ one filled with hospital stays, countless trips back and forth to the city for testing, and the everyday challenges of caring for her family while she recovers. This isn’t just a one-week recovery. Meg will need our support not only in those first days, but in the weeks and months ahead as her body heals and she regains her strength. Meals, kindness, and ongoing care will help lift some of the weight from her shoulders so she can focus on getting well.
