This page was created for Mik and the girls to help organize meals and other requests for help as the need arises. The community has been absolutely amazing in their response, pouring their love into Mikayla and the girls and being the hands and feet of Jesus here during this time. Full story below. On June 28th, Ethan Quade was tragically taken from us in a heartbreaking accident. While working on a vehicle at the family farm, the jack gave way, and Ethan was fatally injured. He was just 32 years old. Ethan was a diligent farmer and a man who stood tall in every sense — dependable, steady, and deeply rooted in his love for family. He poured his energy into providing for those he loved, always stepping up without hesitation. Whether it was working alongside Mikayla on the farm, chasing laughter with his daughters, volunteering for the local fire department, or lending a hand to a neighbor, Ethan lived with purpose and compassion. He leaves behind his loving wife, Mikayla, and their three young daughters: Elsie (5), Dakota (3), and Misty (1). His sudden passing has left an enormous void in their lives. They have an army of people who want to help out. This page will help facilitate that.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has provided a meal for the Quade family this past month. Your care, prayers, and generosity have meant so much! We’ve extended the meal train and invite you to sign up for a new date(s) in the days ahead, if you’re able. Helpful Notes for Planning Meals: Mondays & Fridays: The girls especially enjoy pasta-based dishes like: spaghetti, chicken alfredo, macaroni & cheese. Other favorites include: sweet corn, fresh fruit (especially berries), sloppy joes, hot ham & cheese sliders. Wednesdays – Breakfast-themed meals have been requested. Requested breakfast-style items include: muffins, sweet rolls, pancakes, French toast, waffles, bacon, juice boxes, Go-Gurt yogurts. (Note: The girls are not big fans of egg bake.) We’ll continue to provide updates as needs change. Thank you, again, for continuing to show up with full hearts and full plates.
