https://4agc.com/landing/janeyandkylie A devastating fire during a San Felipe 250 pre-run changed everything for racers Janey Lee and Kylie Walton. In a split second, Kylie made a life-saving decision. She stayed in the burning vehicle, pushing through heat and flames to help Janey escape. Because of her bravery, Janey was able to get out, drop, and roll — putting the fire out on herself. Kylie’s selfless act saved her life. Both suffered serious Stage 2 and Stage 3 burns—Janey to her legs, shoulder, and arm, and Kylie to her hands during the rescue. Now, they face a long and painful road to recovery, with extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and time away from work and racing ahead. The Road 2 Recovery Foundation has launched a fundraiser to support them during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ease the burden and allows Janey and Kylie to focus on healing. If you’re able, please consider supporting them, to enable full focus on healing.
When Kylie graduates from the hospital — she will be continuing her healing journey at her parents’ home, Anna and Brandon Walton, where they’ll be caring for her as she recovers. As you can imagine, this is going to be a full-time effort—helping with bandages, daily care, and making sure she has everything she needs. To help take some of the pressure off her parents, I’m organizing a meal train so they can focus fully on Kylie without having to worry about cooking. If you’re able to contribute a meal, or gift card it would mean so much during this time! Every little bit helps and is deeply appreciated. Thank you all for supporting Kylie and her family ❤️
