Love for Michael

Michael is deeply loved within our community, and during this time of loss, that love is being felt more than ever. He recently lost his mother, Miss Joyce—his greatest advocate, his protector, and his heart. As her only child, Michael was the center of her world. She fought until the very end to ensure he would be cared for, and that kind of love does not go unnoticed. So many have reached out asking how they can help Michael during this difficult time. In response, we’ve organized a meal train to support him in the days ahead. After we come together to celebrate the life of Miss Joyce, Michael will need continued support, comfort, and care. This is one small way we can come together as a community and show up for him—just as his mother always did.
