Loving on Milagros "Millie" Rivera

Port Orange, FL

W
Story

Hello everyone, As many of you know, our beloved Milagros Rivera ("Millie") underwent brain surgery on May 12th. God is so good! He brought Millie through the removal of her brain tumor without any complications. After spending 28 days in the hospital, we are praising God that she is finally home. Now begins the next phase of her journey. Millie has a nurse visiting her home twice a week to monitor her recovery. She is also receiving speech therapy twice a week and physical therapy twice a week. While she has made incredible progress, she still has a long road of healing ahead. This is where we can come together as the hands and feet of Christ. Colossians 3:12 "Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." Millie and her son are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support they have received from so many. We are asking for your help by participating in a meal train to support them during this season of recovery. Providing a meal will help ease one of their daily concerns and allow Millie to focus on healing and regaining her strength. Please consider signing up on the attached calendar to provide a meal for Millie and her family. Every act of kindness, big or small, is deeply appreciated. Let's help make this journey a little easier so that Millie can continue healing and soon be back to her bubbly self, blessing us all with her beautiful voice, radiant smile, and joyful spirit. Thank you all for your continued prayers, love, and support. Please continue to keep Millie and her family lifted up in prayer as she continues her recovery journey. May God continue to strengthen Millie and encourage everyone walking alongside her during this season. If you have any question please text me at 646 529-2815. I will be giving updates on her recovery. She will be accepting any visitors with notice just in case she is in therapy at home. If sending a meal is difficult for you, we will accept gift cards for her to purchase her meals or even pay some bills as she is not able to work. Millie's email is [email protected].

Special Notes

A message from Millie: "My son and I have felt an exceptional outpouring of God's love and support throughout this journey, thank you all so much! I also want to give God the glory for my Titi Maria for being here for me from day one, and of course my amazing son Sean without his support and love I would not be able to do this. God has blessed me with such wonderful company during these trying times. God is so AMAZIN!!"
