On August 12th, 2026 she was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram came back abnormal. This was shocking and surprising news. Currently, her diagnosis is defined as a Stage 3 cancer - Invasive Ductile Carcinoma, but she is still in the midst of many important appointments that will gather details for the best plan forward. The Fink family: Chris, Kristin, Georgia and Kai, are filled with hope and determination as Kristin will start a treatment plan in early fall. They continue to seek out the best possible care for the journey ahead of them, and they are so grateful for the community of people and friends praying for and supporting them.
