Amy had major foot surgery on February 19th. The surgery involved the entire foot with 3 incision sites. Today, April 22 she got the walking boot seen in the photo, scooter life continues and she can use crutches with up to 25% weight. The blood clot and pulmonary embolisms she was hospitalized for a month ago require 2x daily injections. Care in daily living and heart was enlarged and lung capacity is effected. Fatigue is a daily battle, so naps are a new way of life. Amy is allowed to work 4 hours shift for the month of April, which is wonderful. PT will start soon ..trying to get transportation arranged grateful and blessed for the care I receive. More photos to come since folk are asking for them.
