Our favorite red head, Aimee, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer in late June - colorectal cancer with metastasis to the lung and a lymph node near her spine (which may or may not be operable). She’s named her cancer Pam. #FuckPam #TPUBGPam (in steno-speak) Aimee’s medical team is moving swiftly. She underwent a lung biopsy and port installation for chemo treatments. The goal is to stop the cancer from spreading, then shrink it, and then hopefully surgical removal to increase potential life expectancy (currently 3.5-5 years). Aimee is determined to live until she’s 80 and we all know she’s a determined broad! Her doctor is a specialist in this area of colorectal cancer with metastasis to the lung so as Aimee put it, “he’s the right dude for the job.” Aimee is receiving intense chemo treatments that make it impossible for her to engage in her beloved stenography at this time.
