Hi everyone, I’m creating this page on behalf of my dear friends Becky and Daniel and their children, who are going through something no one ever sees coming. Around 1:00 PM Tuesday , Daniel sent a text to Becky saying, “I’m in Macon at the medical center. I’m okay, just my head hurts a little.” That was the start of a terrifying journey. Shortly after, Becky received a call from someone she didn’t recognize — it was a stranger letting her know Daniel had been in a serious work-related accident and had to be airlifted due to the extent of his injuries. At first, doctors believed Daniel had broken his neck and warned of the risk of paralysis. You can imagine fear and heartbreak in that moment. Later, doctors ruled out the neck fracture but confirmed multiple skull fractures and a hematoma. Spinal injuries are still a concern, and they’re waiting on an MRI to better understand what comes next. Daniel has a long road ahead — one filled with hospital stays, uncertain test results, and a tough recovery. He’s the kind of person who works hard, loves his family fiercely, and would do anything for those he cares about. Right now, he and his family need that same kind of love and support returned. If you can donate, every bit will help ease the burden of medical bills, time away from work, and the cost of recovery. And if you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this page and keeping Daniel in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for standing with him.
