My sister Katie just had her port placed yesterday, and she meets with her oncologist on Monday to go over her treatment plan. We’re stepping into a new phase, and while we don’t have all the answers yet, we do know she’s going to need rest, support, and as little stress as possible in the days ahead. I created this meal train to help take one thing off her plate so she can focus on healing and getting through each day. If you’re able to help with a meal, a drop-off, or even just share this, it truly means so much to us. Thank you for surrounding her with love and support during this time. 🤍
Thank you so much for supporting Katie and her family during this time — it truly means so much. Katie has 6 kids at home, so meals that can feed a family or include extra for leftovers are incredibly appreciated. Katie is going to try to stick to the Mediterranean-style diet, so lighter meals with lean proteins, vegetables, and whole grains are preferred for her. Her kids will eat regular meals, so family-friendly dishes are perfectly okay as well. Easy, ready-to-eat or reheat meals are best, and disposable containers are appreciated so nothing needs to be returned. Please text ahead before dropping off so she can rest when needed. We are so grateful for all the love and support 🤍
