Support for the Eaton Family

Livermore, CA

W
Story

Angie was diagnosed with Colon Cancer on April 17th and is having surgery to remove the tumor this Friday May 3rd. The great news is, it seems that the cancer has not spread to other parts of her body. She believes that the Lord will bring her full and complete healing through the surgery. Her strength and joy in hope come from the Lord. She appreciates all who have come alongside her and her family in prayer in this journey. The Lord is answering prayers every day and you can check out the praises of those prayers in the updates section.

Special Notes

To view updates in the Update section of the site and to sign up for a task on the calendar (including meals), you will have to create an account and sign in by clicking the orange Sign In button or the Follow the Page heart at the top of the page. Save a bookmark of this site to your phone as updates will be posted here, as well as give tangible ways you can help Angie & her family during this journey. As needs arise, the calendar below will be updated to show those needs. Please read here first before signing up for something on the calendar. Unfortunately this site doesn’t give much text space in the mealtrain portion so all instructions for meals can be found here. Below you will find ways to help support Angie and her family. From running errands, to doing laundry, to picking up prescriptions, to providing meals…everything will be listed below. It will take a village to help make the work light. So let’s come around Angie and her family during this time. Meals would greatly bless them! If you are not local, we welcome you to purchase gift cards from the wishlist part of this site to send them, if you desire to help that way. We have also added in breakfast and lunch as options in addition to dinner since that would greatly help in the day to day while Angie heals from surgery and help Todd focus on work and the girls. Breakfast casseroles, breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches, bagels & cream cheese, pastries, muffins are all great! Please drop off breakfast items anytime the day BEFORE you are signed up so that they can enjoy them the next morning and you don’t have to make an early delivery in the morning. Things that can be reheated and already cooked are preferred. Please no olives, celery, blue/gorganzola cheese, seafood, or cilantro. The first week will need to be more easily digestible foods like rice based meals , noodle based meals, think comfort foods, and as the weeks go by, more veggies, salads and higher fiber foods can be added to meals. Homemade, restaurant or store bought are all great options. Feel free to text Angie the day before the date you signed up for to see what sounds good. There will be periods during the day where Angie will be napping so just give her sometime to respond back to texts. Thank you so much for loving on Angie and her family during this time. It takes a village and she is pretty sure hers is the best around.
