Magnes Welsh is one of the warmest and most generous people. She has spent her life showing up for others with kindness, generosity, humor, and a calming presence. As she prepares for hip replacement surgery, we're gathering around her with that same care. Magnes will be recovering at her home with the support of Jen Moeller, goddaughter Amy Wainright, and goddog Bertie by her side to help her heal comfortably and safely. Because so many people love her and want to stay connected, we created this Care Circle to keep everyone informed about her surgery, her progress, and any needs that come up along the way. She will welcome support in whatever form feels right: meals, warm thoughts, prayers, encouraging notes, or help with small tasks as requested. Her diet is gluten and dairy free (moderate butter is okay). No meat. Very little sugar and moderate salt. I eat lots of veggies and fruits and fish...also eat brown rice, quinoa, lentils, Asian food. I will drink chicken broth or chicken bone broth.
