Today, we lost someone truly special. Jim Bessette took his final breath this morning and gained his wings after a long, courageous battle with cancer. For those who didn’t know Jim personally—he was truly one of a kind. He loved working on cars, watching football, being outdoors, and above all, being the best dad and husband anyone could ask for. In January, Jim lost all mobility, but never lost his role as the heart of his family. Even at his weakest, he always made sure Rachel and the kids were okay! His love, strength, and determination never wavered. The last several months of his life were filled with unimaginable challenges, but Jim never lost his spark—his sense of humor, his fight, and his unwavering love for those around him.
