Support Ava and Her Family Ava, a current high school freshman and a dedicated libero on her school's JV volleyball team, is facing a challenging battle. At just 14 years old, she's the oldest of four sisters. On October 16th, a trip to the ER for a concerning lump on her neck resulted in a diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma. This unexpected news has turned Ava and her family's world upside down. The community has rallied behind them with an overwhelming amount of outreach and support. We're now coming together to create this page to help coordinate the support Ava's family needs during this trying time, particularly when it comes to meals and childcare for their younger children. Your assistance, whether through providing a meal, offering a helping hand, or contributing in any way you can, is greatly appreciated. Dietary Restrictions & Preferences: The girls do not have any food allergies, however they are trying to limit sugar intake for Ava. *Reina currently prefers cereal (Lucky Charms, Honeycomb, or Cinnamon Toast Crunch), Mrs Grass’s soup or chicken nuggets. Health Guidelines for Visitors: To support Ava's well-being, we kindly request that visitors refrain from coming over if they are feeling unwell. Ava's health is our top priority, and avoiding exposure to illness is crucial during this time. Additionally, once Ava's treatment commences, we ask all visitors to wear a mask when in her presence.
