Help Price Family Through Medical Crisis and Separation

Story

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read our story. We are a family of ten—my husband and me, along with our eight children. Our family is going through an extremely difficult and painful season due to serious health challenges, disability, financial hardship, and an unexpected separation from our children. I live with cancer and complex parathyroid-related medical issues, along with an unpredictable and rare condition that has left me fully disabled. Much of what I deal with is an “invisible illness,” meaning that the seriousness of my condition may not always be apparent from the outside. However, it affects nearly every part of daily life: my ability to work, maintain stability, manage basic tasks, and physically care for our household in the way I once could. My husband is also my full-time caretaker. He does everything he can to care for me, manage appointments and medical needs, support our family, and hold things together emotionally. Because my health can change without warning, it is difficult for him to maintain steady work while also being available when I need care. We are doing our best, but the financial strain has become overwhelming. The hardest part of all is that our medical and financial circumstances have led to separation from our eight children. This is not because we do not love them, want them, or care deeply about their well-being. We love and miss them every day. This separation has happened because, at this time, we have not been able to provide the financial stability and level of care that all eight children deserve while managing my disability and ongoing medical needs. We are asking for help with the basic things that can help us survive this difficult chapter and continue working toward stability and reunification as a family. Support will help with: Groceries, food, and household necessities Rent, utilities, phone service, gas, and transportation Medical-related expenses and supplies not fully covered Basic personal-care and hygiene items Clothing and essential household needs Travel or communication costs that help us stay connected with our children who reaide with their paternal Super Nana. Birthday gifts, holiday meals, Christmas gifts, and small comforts for our children Emergency expenses that arise because of my unpredictable health condition We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for breathing room, nourishment, stability, and a chance to make sure our children know they are loved and remembered—especially on birthdays, holidays, and Christmas. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference. A grocery gift card can help feed us. A gas card can help us get to appointments or maintain contact with our children. A donation toward utilities can help keep us stable. Gifts, holiday support, or birthday items for the children can remind them that their parents are still thinking of them and loving them through every difficult day. If you cannot contribute financially, please consider sharing this page, sending encouragement, offering grocery or meal support, donating gift cards, or helping us locate local resources. Your kindness, prayers, messages, and support mean more than we can put into words. Thank you for seeing our family, believing that invisible illness and disability are real, and helping us hold onto hope during a time when so much feels uncertain. With gratitude Dylan and Janinne Price The Price Tribe And Super Nana
