Love & Meals for the Kingsleys

Greeley, CO

Story

On September 21, 2025, at exactly 12:00 AM, the Kingsley family welcomed their beautiful daughter, Danielle Leigh, into the world. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and measured 19.25 inches long. While her arrival brought so much joy, Danielle was also born with a few unexpected challenges, including a cleft palate, extra skin in her mouth, and a smaller chin. Because of these complications, Danielle was transferred by helicopter to Children’s Hospital, where she is now receiving specialized care. The doctors are working with the family to create a plan to help Danielle feed more effectively and determine if she may need any minor procedures before her cleft palate surgery, which is expected between 12–18 months of age. Danielle’s NICU stay is anticipated to last around 6 months, which means many long days and nights ahead for her parents. The Kingsleys live an hour away from the hospital and are balancing time between Aurora and home, where their 8-year-old daughter is waiting for them with love and longing. As you can imagine, this season has brought a whirlwind of emotions and challenges. Providing meals is one way we can help lighten their load and show them they are not walking through this alone. Every meal helps free up time and energy for the Kingsleys to focus on their daughters and navigate this unexpected journey. Thank you for loving and supporting the Kingsley family in such a tangible way. Your kindness truly makes a difference. ❤️
