Sarah is preparing for back surgery, and while she’s hopeful and courageous, the weeks ahead will be challenging. She won’t be able to bend, lift, or do many of the everyday tasks she’s so used to handling on her own. Healing takes time, patience, and support—and that’s where we’re hoping to step in. Adam aka shorty will be doing his best to balance work, caring for her, and keeping their home running smoothly. He’ll be stretched thin, and the simple gift of meals and easy foods will take a tremendous weight off their shoulders. It means fewer worries, fewer late nights trying to pull dinner together, and more space for them to focus on rest, recovery, and each other. We’re starting this meal train because we love them. Because they show up for others. Because they deserve to feel held and supported through this season. Your kindness—whether a meal, a snack, or something simple and easy—will mean more to them than you know. Thank you for being part of their healing and helping them feel surrounded by care.
The most needed meals will be on the 2nd week, as Sarah will be home alone. Please, NO cilantro. There will be a cooler set up on the front porch for deliveries anytime of day. Please call Sarah or Adam aka Shorty for any specific clarification.
