Loving support for Gracie and Jerry

Story

Hello and thank you for visiting our page! Last August 2025 I started getting abnormal symptoms and proceeded to go to many different Dr. appts to try and figure out what was wrong. As of Jan.2026, I was diagnosed with metastasized uterine cancer stage 4 due to all the lymph node involvement. I am very swollen from the belly button down to my feet. Yes it is painful but I am managing quite well and still working a few days when I can! I had a port put in my chest for the chemo treatment and when blood draws are needed( often) on 1/26/26. Yes it was a surgery, painful and has taken several weeks to heal but it saves my arm veins from a lot of stress and strain. The 1st chemo treatment was 2/2/26 and the port proved to be very helpful and no pain . I need 3 different cocktails as they call them which take at least 5 hours to flow into my body , once every 3 weeks. My next chemo is 2/23/26 and now I know a little bit more what to expect this next time, wired from steroid's for the 1st night after chemo and wired for 2-3 days then not feeling good: nausea like morning sickness no vomiting thankfully, and more boring symptoms than I’ll spare you all from hearing ! I’ll need 4 chemo treatments to shrink all the lymph nodes before Dr. Teresa Longoria will do surgery to remove my uterus , then 3-4 more chemo treatments and Keytruda infusion will keep going for another year and a half. This will only be a 30 minute infusion thankfully ! We just got news of Jerry also having to have a surgery to remove one of his testicles next Monday 2/20/26 ! Praying it’s not cancerous… oh boy, Thank you kindly for helping us navigate this difficult time with help in nourishing our bodies .We are humbled and grateful for so many friends and the little family we have for so much love and support. We are truly blessed to have you in our lives,

Special Notes

Because cancer and its treatment is so different but similar in patterns, I’m requesting foods, meals that are organic as possible, cleanly made, no fried or sugary food please. A little salt & pepper and herbs but if possible no oils except avocado oil, olive oil or coconut oil, no diary but nut milks yes and hard cheeses great sheep ,feta ,goat ricotta ok, gluten free pastas please! We love chicken enchiladas with mild sauces ( hopefully organic chicken ), seafood is tough because We try to only eat wild caught fish. All organic veggies are great, organic berries are wonderful as is healthy low sugar dark chocolate. I found a food delivery company called Thistle which has really helped me mostly, and Jerry during this first round of chemo, It’s weird but I’m hungry every 2-2.5 hours instead of the opposite, we will see how that changes I’ve heard….
