I’m a mother of two wonderful children. I am currently going through a lot due to reporting domestic violence. In April my now estranged husband assaulted and strangled me with the children in the house. I called the police, who then called CPS. My children were placed with my sister for several weeks. They are now back in the home but I am not allowed to be alone with them. Why? Because they were in the home when he assaulted me. I am working hard to do everything asked to close the case, but they are dragging their feet. I am a nurse who works in the hospital. Unfortunately I went from two incomes to one and it’s a bit of a struggle. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
