Hi everyone, and thank you for being here. I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and I'm beginning a long treatment plan that includes chemotherapy, surgeries, and radiation. As I navigate the weeks and months ahead, I’m creating this page so my friends, neighbors, and wider community can support my kiddo and I in ways that are genuinely helpful and immediately useful. Right now, the most meaningful support comes in two forms: Meal Support: DoorDash & Instacart Treatment will make cooking and grocery shopping extremely difficult. Due to my son's anaphylactic food allergies, meals from our community are not our safest path. Gift cards to DoorDash or Instacart help us stay fed on the days when treatment side effects are the hardest and energy is the scarcest. Practical Support: Venmo Cancer comes with an enormous number of expenses that fall outside of insurance: • hospital parking (which adds up shockingly fast) • household help like cleaners when I’m unable to keep up • medications and supplies • unexpected costs as treatments progress I’m deeply grateful for any support you’re able to offer whether that’s a gift card, a donation, or simply sharing this page with your own network.
