A Note from Jess In just under five weeks, I will be undergoing a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I went back and forth about how much to share here, but the truth is—I will need help. I am beyond grateful to have an incredibly supportive husband, a loving family who will be right by my side, and a dedicated team in our nursery who will continue to provide unparalleled care for all of our beloved dogs and puppies. Their commitment gives me peace of mind during this season of healing. Still, I’ve learned that sometimes strength means being honest enough to ask for support. And so, I’m opening this space to invite kindness—whether that’s through prayers, words of encouragement, or practical help. This chapter is not about loss, but about life, courage, and resilience. My hope is that, with your love and support, the journey ahead will be filled with light, laughter, and healing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with me, my family, and our four-legged family members. Your kindness means more than words can express. With love and gratitude, Jess Ways to Help 💙 Meals for the Family Recovering from surgery will limit what I’m able to do, and meals will be such a blessing to keep my family nourished and cared for during this time. Knowing dinner is handled will lift a huge weight from our shoulders. 💙 Gift Cards Gift cards for groceries, restaurants, or household essentials are another practical way to support us while I heal. They allow Travis and the kids to quickly pick up what’s needed without extra stress. 💙 Words of Encouragement Messages, prayers, and uplifting notes mean the world. Every kind word helps remind me—and my family—that we’re not walking this road alone.
