Alisa’s journey continues to be harder and more complicated than she ever imagined. After her follow‑up with the oncologist on Thursday, she learned that the secondary cancer found in pathology means she has more steps ahead. She will return to treatment in three weeks, and will be switching to a new chemo regimen — She is scared and very overwhelmed. So many things to go through all while still being a mother, worrying about returning to work to keep up financially. She will also need radiation to that area, which will be more appointments, more healing, and more fighting. Cancer is long, exhausting, and sometimes lonely road, but with amazing people who continue to stand in her corner to help get her and the family through this time is a true blessing. I am setting up a meal train to help take off the stress of cooking and let her have more time to relax with the family and heal. Please consider signing up to o help. You can have the meal delivery or simply give a gift card so lunch/ dinner can just be picked up
