Thank you all so much for taking the time to read, donate, and share. Your kindness means the world right now. Samantha and her family are going through an incredibly difficult time. She has moved her father, Don, a United States Veteran into her home here in Arizona. Don is currently on hospice care. Backstory: Don was recently rushed to the emergency room, where he was immediately admitted, underwent surgery, and spent time in the ICU. Doctors found him severely underweight—just 98 pounds at 6 feet tall—and in extreme pain. He was struggling to swallow, which left him malnourished and too weak to undergo chemo or radiation treatment for the cancer they discovered. Now in a fragile state, Don requires constant care and cannot be left alone. Samantha has stepped into the role of full-time caregiver, providing around-the-clock support. As you can imagine, the emotional and physical toll is overwhelming. Even basic daily tasks like grocery shopping or making meals have become a major challenge. We’re reaching out for support—meals, gift cards (for Uber Eats, grocery stores, etc.), meal prep help, or anything you feel might lift some of the weight off Samantha’s shoulders. Every little bit helps. Samantha’s two brothers have traveled in from California and Hawaii to be here for a short time. Together they are so grateful for any help, ideas, or acts of kindness you can offer. Thank you again for your love and support. We’ll continue to post updates here. ⸻ Let me know if you’d like to add links or personalize anything further.
Because of how sensitive and delicate Dons health is, we are asking for few visitors unless Samantha is aware.thank you all. We just can’t risk Don catching anything during this delicate time.,
