As many of you know, Joey Matthies has recently become ill and has been transferred to the Mayo Clinic as doctors work to understand what is happening and provide the best possible care. Over the past several days, Joey’s condition has been changing, and she has been communicating less and less as doctors continue running tests and searching for answers. Her family is staying right by her side, focusing on Joey and hoping for clarity, healing, and strength in the days ahead. During this time, Joey’s parents are away from home so they can remain close to her at Mayo. Their boys are currently staying with their grandparents while the family focuses on Joey and navigating the uncertainty of the days ahead. As you can imagine, this situation brings many unexpected needs and challenges. This page was created as a way for friends, family, and community members to support the Matthies family in whatever way they feel moved.
