Coach Mark Alfaro was a devoted coach to the community of Poteet, Texas and all around Atascosa County. His love for football was only the beginning, his love of mentoring so many children and adolescents was where his heart was. He instilled in each player love for the game, skills, passion, confidence, community, commitment, respect for all and faith in God. God was always first for Coach Mark through prayers before each game and the love for thy neighbor, our opponents. He leaves a deep legacy within our community and our players will carry that legacy throughout.
