On February 28, 2023, Shawn McAtamney was diagnosed with appendicitis while he and Jen were vacationing in Hawaii. He was admitted to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy and tragically lost his life due to post-surgical complications. Jen and Shawn have been devoted and active members of the Summit County community for decades and now Jen and her daughters Mairi and Emilie deeply need our love and support as they navigate their new path forward. This page has been created as a way to consolidate the different things they will need and avoid overwhelming the family with lots of individual offers of help. As of March 14 Jen will be in California with her Dad as he is ill. We will resume this program when she returns. Thank you all!
