A New Home for the Bostic/Chambers Family

Story

On May 11, 2026, our family experienced a devastating house fire that changed our lives in an instant. We lost everything we owned, and the heartbreak was made even worse when we lost one of our beloved dogs, Gator, in the fire. Our other three dogs survived but suffered from smoke inhalation and needed urgent care. Thankfully, our two teenagers were at school and safe, but coming home to nothing has been incredibly hard for all of us. I am living with MS and am on disability, which makes it even more difficult to recover from this tragedy. The Red Cross stepped in to help with temporary housing for a week, but now we are facing new challenges. We have a vet bill for the dogs’ oxygen care, and we need to replace basic essentials and find a new place to live. The road ahead feels overwhelming, but we are doing our best to stay hopeful and strong for our family and pets. We would appreciate any support we can get during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful to those who have already reached out to help us. Any help—big or small—would mean the world to our family as we work to rebuild our lives and find stability again. Thank you for reading our story and for considering supporting us.
