Kylie and Katie Birdwell (sisters) were involved in a serious car accident on Wheeler & Rose street in Rogersville, Alabama last week. Katie had whiplash, she's 14 and was the passenger. Kylie, 16, the driver sustained injuries including a ruptured bladder (emergency surgery that night), a fractured pelvis (surgery done the following afternoon), a minor pneumothorax, a bruised spleen and a lacerated ear requiring stitches. The recovery will be quite extensive and she will be non weight bearing for at least 6 weeks. Anything we can do to help, I'd like to try. Most of all, this family needs prayers.
