Supporting Angelo, Meg, Teddy & Nico

Wareham, MA

Story

To know Meg, Angelo and their boys is to love them. This past week, this sweet family’s world has come crashing down after Angelo was admitted to the hospital in significant pain and diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, an aggressive form of liver cancer. Angelo has undergone a battery of testing, procedures and biopsies in just a few days. He will have his care transferred to an incredible team at MGH going forward. This being said, this family’s battle is just beginning. Angelo will have a long road ahead of testing and treatment. Although we live in the best place in the world for medical care, being two working parents with two young kids and traveling into the city for countless appointments is not an easy feat. That’s where we come in! Let’s help support them and take a little bit of the burden off their plate. I have set up a meal train for 3 days/wk at this time (we can extend and update as needed) and have noted below local take out restaurants for gift cards, gas, groceries, meal ideas etc. Due to Angelo’s diagnosis he is on a low fat/high protein diet. Meghan states any of the following ideas would be super helpful and much appreciated: -chicken and veggies -turkey meatballs -healthier quiches -stir fry -marinated chicken to throw on the grill *ALLERGIES* Please no mango or shellfish. Local restaurants: American Pizza Krua Thai 2 Towne and Tavern Bailey McDonald’s for the boys …and of course Perry’s Icecream!
