We are heartbroken to share that we have lost a cherished member of the Loudoun Valley High School Class of 2010, Alyssa Kakol, in a tragic Ashburn accident. Alyssa was known to all as one of the kindest and most generous individuals. Her life was defined by deep love for her family, her parents, her siblings Paul, Laura, Ann, Sara, and Jacob, and her love and joy in being an aunt. She was a dedicated preschool teacher whose passion for teaching shone through in the care she gave to every student and coworker. She possessed a sharp, sarcastic streak, a wonderful sense of humor, loved music, and absolutely adored animals—so much so that pet sitting was her favorite side job. To offer concrete support to her family during this impossibly difficult time, and with the knowledge and blessing of two of her sisters, Sara and Kelsi, I am organizing this meal train of gift cards. Gift cards are emailed and/or mailed directly to the family at the addresses they provided to me.
