Story

My mom, Becky, is a fighter. She’s had a lot of health problems recently, though, and I’m worried about her. She (in the last few years) survived breast cancer, then had two strokes, and she had to have an ankle replacement. Now she’s struggling with the beginning of dementia, chronic pain, tremors, depression. She’s having a hard time getting around and keeping up with the demands of daily life. Becky hasn’t been able to safely cook for herself for quite some time, and she’s having trouble getting by. Her food stamps have lapsed, and she was at risk of loosing her housing because i was staying there and "housing" wasn't ok with it. I had to stop being her live in caretaker. It’s expensive and difficult for me to travel to see her regularly, being that my transmission is about to completely go out and the dealership screwed me over. Becky is a really strong woman, and she would be so grateful for any help that you could give her. She’s a great cook and she used to love sharing her food with friends and family. and she isnt picky now days and enjoys any food really. and even loves microwaveable pot pies and vegetables'. She would also love to have a friend or two to hang out with her. and i think having company or getting out the house would really help her a bunch. I appreciate any help that you can give. Thank you so much.
