November 25, 2025—the day our world changed forever. My little Desmond, just shy of his third birthday, was admitted to the hospital with severe heart issues. The next few weeks were a whirlwind of emotions and tests; seeing my son in such distress broke me. He had a stroke due to his heart condition, leaving him weak but fighting. Life hasn’t been easy since that day. I work about 1 hour and 45 minutes away from the hospital where my son battles daily. Balancing this with caring for our two other children has been tough, but somehow, we manage. However, financially, it's taking a toll on us. 💔 financially and emotionally. The costs of gas to travel back and forth are piling up, not to mention the expenses for food while I’m away from home, and even potential moving costs if we must relocate closer to the hospital. My son is currently to sick for the transplant list but as he progresses we are hopeful he will finally have a second chance but while waiting to know more it adds another layer of stress I never thought I would be here, asking for help. But Desmond needs me by his side more than ever now that he's awake more often I my family would enjoy these new moments with him.Your support could mean the world to us. It’s not just about money; it’s about being there—physically and emotionally—through this difficult time.
