In 2025 Ava was in a car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that the hospital did not catch upon initial visit. After months of severely declining in health and trips to the hospital the diagnosis was the TBI, which had also cause Hypersomnia and Hyperadrenergic POTS. This causes a constant extreme level of exhaustion, inability to stand for prolonged periods of time, increased heart rate and heart palpitation, muscle pain, memory loss, excessive daytime sleeping, dizziness and vision loss upon standing, etc. It has taken over a year to nail down the diagnosis and proper specialists and the recovery road is going to be even longer. There are still tests to be ran, specialists to see, physical and mental therapies, IV infusions, etc, to get to. This is going to be a long journey and any support aleviates stress on Ava and her family and allows her Mom the time to take her to and from doctors appointments.
