A Little Help for Mom & Baby 💛 Francesca and Griffin are home and soaking up all of these sweet (and very tiring!) first days together. Mom is still recovering from delivery and a few complications and has been asked to stay on bed rest while she heals, so we’re putting together a little support page to make these early weeks a bit easier. Frankie wants everyone to know that Collin has been absolutely incredible, taking care of both Mom and baby around the clock. He’s been a wonderful full-time caregiver, and a little extra help from family and friends would mean so much so that he can also rest, recharge, and enjoy this special time with Griffin as well. 💙 If you’d like to lend a hand, some things that would be especially helpful are: * 🍲 Bring a meal: Homemade, takeout, or anything easy and nourishing is perfect. Warm, comforting meals that can be reheated are especially appreciated! Home-cooked Ideas: Soups/stews, protein heavy meals, cooked veggies, fresh fruits, dessert/lactation cookies welcome (just no chocolate for Frankie please!) Favorite takeout ideas: Tacos/Burritos, Thai or Indian, or anything from Pacific Pearl (right in their neighborhood). * 🛒 Groceries: A quick Trader Joe’s grocery run or picking up a few things for the week would be a huge help. * 🧺 Help with laundry: Folding a load, putting clothes away, or tossing something in the wash would go a long way. There’s nothing cuter than washing baby clothes! * 🧹 Light housework: Dishes, tidying up/organizing, or any other little household task would be wonderful. * 👶 Happy Hour with the baby: Come meet the newest little member of the family, and enjoy a drink together (or coffee/matcha)! We’d love to see everyone, but visits will need to stay low-key while Francesca recovers (please only 1-2 people at a time). We are so grateful to have such wonderful family and friends surrounding us as we get through these first few weeks. Thank you for loving on us, helping us, and especially helping make sure Mom, Dad, and baby are all getting the care they need. 💕
Please let us know what days and times work best for you, we don’t need to stick to the calendar below. Please be sure to wash hands when coming into the home, and please don’t wear any strong perfumes or scents (the newborn smell is too precious).
