Standing in for Jesse (Since he can't! )

Story

As many of you know, 2 weeks ago central Virginia was blasted with a bizarre winter storm that plastered the area with a slick topcoat of ice. Folks were ice skating down their residential streets like it was some kind of Olympic warm-up. We saw neighbors crawling up their yards on all fours and emergency room visits for slips and falls sky-rocketed overnight. Ron's nephew, Jesse McKinney, was one of the unlucky victims. He slipped on the ice and as his body slid several feet, one foot got caught in a divet and broke his ankle...bad. He's been bed-ridden ever since and in excruciating pain whenever he tries to put the ankle on the floor to rise. Jesse is a professional chef at Fleming's Seakhouse & Wine Bar but has been out of work for these 2 weeks, and the road to recovering is just beginning. There is at least one surgery and many weeks of recovery still ahead. This can be a heavy time, but we can all pitch in to help make it a little lighter for him. Ways to help Jesse now: ⭐️ Add some funds to his 💖 care card 💖 (via the Quick Support Links) so he can shop his favorite food delivery services and essentials straight from bed! ⭐️ Donate directly to Jesse via his personal $CashApp link (via the Quick Support Links) which will help with bills + rent. ⭐️ Check back soon for an integrated meal-train option so we can get him some nutritious, home-cooked meals to speed-up his recovery. ⭐️ Coming soon: Calendar requests for personal errands/doctor visits, etc. Let's all stand for Jesse, since he can't! Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Special Notes

Jesse has no food allergies. He's pretty easy and will eat most things. In general he is a meat and potatoes kind of guy.
