Hello family and friends, I started this page to create a shared calendar where we can sign up to help transport Mary to and from her cancer treatments. This will help ease the burden on her husband, Jake, and ensure that Mary arrives safely to her appointments and back home. At this time, her treatments are scheduled once a week on FRIDAY. Hopefully, we can each carve out a small amount of time on *FRIDAY* to rotate this responsibility and show up for Mary. I know that if any one of us were in her position, this kind of support would mean the world. What’s going on? On Christmas Eve of 2025, Mary had a mammogram that led to an immediate cancer diagnosis. Since that day, everything has moved very quickly. She has undergone multiple biopsies, a CT scan, blood work, genetic testing, placement of a chemo port, and a PET scan. What we do know at this point is encouraging: Mary does not fit the typical profile of someone with a rare and aggressive cancer. She is otherwise very healthy, and her blood work has come back absolutely perfect. The cancer is currently classified as stage 2, and her world-renowned medical team is optimistic that they can get a handle on this. Mary is doing her best to adjust quickly to this unexpected curveball while keeping her home life steady and safe for her three children. Jake has truly been her rock through this turbulence, doing everything he can to maintain stability and security for their family. Closing Call to Action If you are able to help, please sign up on the shared calendar for a FRIDAY that works for you. Even offering a small amount of time makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for surrounding Mary, Jake, and their family with love, support, and care during this season. It truly means more than words can express.
