As we prepare to welcome our sweet baby boy, we’ve had a few unexpected challenges come our way. Our birth plan changed to a planned C-section, which means a longer recovery than we anticipated. At the same time, Grandma is currently in a rehab facility and will be undergoing another knee surgery, making it difficult for her to help as she normally would. Dad is taking as much time off as he can, but much of it will be unpaid, so we’re doing our best to navigate this new season together. If you’re able to bless our family with a meal, groceries, baby essentials, or even a prayer, we would be incredibly grateful. Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, means the world to us and helps us focus on healing, adjusting, and soaking in these precious first moments with our little boy. Thank you for loving and supporting our family. We can’t wait to bring our baby boy home and begin this exciting new chapter with him!
We’d love the company just as much as the help! If you’d like to stop by for a coffee or a quick chat, we’d enjoy that too. We typically have 3 people here during the week and 4 on weekends if you’re bringing food. As much as we love surprises, we’d kindly ask that all visits be arranged with us ahead of time so we can make sure it’s a good time for both baby and Mom’s recovery. If you’re feeling under the weather or think you may be getting sick, please wait until you’re feeling better before visiting. We also have a cat, so if allergies are a concern, we’re happy to put him in another room or visit outside. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call or message me or Tristan. Thank you so much for your love and support—we truly appreciate it!
