This journey with Mom started in August or September of 2025 and ended with her in rehab at a local nursing home. She was in the hospital several times, rehab in Lubbock, sustained a fall thus a new spinal fracture, in excoriating pain, over medicated, and completely confused before finally regaining herself and wanting to get better and go home. She has lost about 100 lbs on this journey, also. I wanted to make this page to help my parents because they are notorious for not asking for help. I know they have numerous friends and family that would jump to help them and this is an idea way to do so.
