Supporting the Smiths

UPDATE: We are so grateful for the incredible love and support shown to the Smith family. It has been amazing to see the meal train fill up so quickly and to witness our community rally around them during this difficult time. The family will be heading out of town in early July, so we added some more dates later in that month. Many have still asked how they can continue to help. As you can imagine, funeral and related expenses can add up quickly. ORIGINAL POST: Our dear friends, Patty and Todd, are walking through the heartbreaking loss of their son, AJ. Ali and Emily are mourning the loss of their beloved brother, and the entire Smith family is carrying a grief that words cannot fully express. As followers of Christ, we are called to bear one another’s burdens and be the hands and feet of Jesus during times of need. We pray that the Smith family feels God’s presence, comfort, and peace in the days ahead, and that they are surrounded by the love of family, friends, and community. One simple way we can bless them during this difficult season is by providing meals and gift cards so they can focus on being together and healing.
