As many know, Melissa was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 3 years ago and had been in remission. Unfortunately her battle and journey is now continuing as she was recently diagnosed with Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which has now metastasized and spread to her Lungs. For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human being. She is cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong and always puts her friends and family before herself. She had been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks, and she has just started chemotherapy again. We set up this page to allow for help, to help the Walker family (Melissa, Robert, Isaiah, Cameron and Amaris) during this extremely difficult time. Melissa was discharged from the hospital yesterday and she will continue to battle and fight this awful disease at home.
