Natalie's mom, Norma, was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday, 7/30. Signs are pointing to liver cancer, but they won't really know until she has an MRI done. She needs as much help as possible, so family has been there around the clock. The greatest help to the Valenzuela family would be gift cards and Venmo donations to help with meals for them. They are unsure of how long she will be in the hospital at this time, so anything helps. For those that don't know, Natalie's mom lives with them and helps their family tremendously at home and in classroom whenever Natalie needs it! She has been kind enough to provide our 3rd grade team with treats and drinks, as well. The Valenzuela family has always been generous and helpful when needed, so let's support them as best we can right now in their time of need. As to not overwhelm the family with calls and texts, updates will be shared here periodically.
