Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m a single mother of 14 children reaching out during an emergency situation involving my family and our home. Our house is currently at risk of being condemned due to unsafe living conditions. Our pipes have been frozen for five days, there is no heat in the home, and the conditions are no longer safe—especially for my children. Because of how severe things have gotten, I’ve had to send some of my children to stay with relatives just to keep them warm and safe. I’ve now been told that I must leave the home with all of my children due to these conditions. As a mother, this has been absolutely heartbreaking, but my children’s safety has to come first. I’m doing everything I can on my own, but the cost of emergency housing, potential moving expenses, and basic necessities has become overwhelming. I’m raising funds to help cover temporary housing, emergency needs, and relocation costs if the home is condemned, so I can keep my family safe and together during this crisis.
