As many of you know, the last few months for Karen have been a drastic and devastating time not only for her but her children, grandson, and family. With Karen recently being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, life has become a sort of rollercoaster; tumbling out of control with sickness, emotions, the not knowing day-to-day struggles, and the financial burdens of healthcare. Karen has elected to go forward with aggressive chemotherapy to prolong any and all possibilities to live her life to the fullest. With this treatment, she would need to travel 1 1/2 hours each way every day for the next month or so. Upon careful consideration, she decided it would be best to rent a hotel closest to the medical facility. But with an expense no one should bear alone, the hotel costs, nourishment, medication, and significant costs due to chemo, we are hoping this page will help relieve some burdens on her and her family. Karen has always been one of those people who leaves a mark on you; always smiling, laughing, or being her crazy self ❤️.
