Caring for Casey

Cumberland, RI

Story

Update: Casey will have a long road ahead of her but with the incredible team of doctors and amazing support from family and friends combined with her positive and optimistic attitude, she's sure to beat this! It doesn't mean the road ahead won't be tough which is why any way that we can support and assist is greatly appreciated. Let's join together and show the love! Support Casey and Her Family ๐Ÿ’› This past week my sister Casey, who is known by all for her big heart, her positivity and unwavering optimism, was unexpectedly diagnosed with a mass on her frontal lobe. She had to undergo emergency surgery and now faces a period of recovery and that will require her to take time off from work and need some extra care. While the surgery was an important first step, there may still be more medical treatments and follow-up ahead as she continues this journey toward healing. At this time we want to surround her with love and support โ€” especially her amazing husband Adam, their wonderful son Nolan, and their sweet daughter Reese. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. Gift cards for meals and groceries and whatever essentials they need along the way would be a great way to be supportive, giving them one less thing to worry about. Casey has always shown up for others with a smile and a kind heart โ€” now itโ€™s our turn to show up for her. Thank you for helping lighten the load and reminding this incredible family that they are not alone. ๐Ÿ’›

Special Notes

While we all love a home cooked meal, due to dietary restrictions and allergies, I think it's best to play it safe and keep the cooking at the restaurants.
