Story

Hello friends and family, After more than a decade of transitioning, I am finally taking the biggest step in my journey. On Tuesday, June 23rd, I am having FTM top surgery to finally get the chest I was always meant to have. This is a moment I have dreamed of since I was a little kid. Getting to this point has been one of the hardest chapters of my life. For the past year, I have been in a relentless battle with insurance companies and healthcare providers. After facing multiple denials, appealing, and fighting through the deep depression and mental toll that came with those setbacks, I finally received my approval. Because I have bound my chest for over ten years, this surgery is not just a physical change—it is a literal weight being lifted off my chest and a massive victory for my mental health. I am setting up this page because recovery from the periareolar procedure requires strict rest. For the first few weeks, I will have significant lifting and movement restrictions, meaning I won't be able to do standard chores, cook heavy meals, or lift items around the house. If you are able to help out, I would be incredibly grateful. Whether it’s signing up for a meal train slot, dropping off a low-sodium snack, helping with my pup, or just sending a supportive text, your care means the world to me as I heal. Thank you all for standing by me through the fights, the tears, and now, the celebration. With love and gratitude, Sebastián

Special Notes

I would absolutely love the company while I am resting! Please feel free to come by and visit whenever you feel like it—just send me a quick text beforehand so I can make sure I'm awake. If you are signing up to cook or send a meal, please keep it completely meat-free. I eat a vegetarian diet, so delicious veggie dishes, pastas, or meatless options are perfect. Thank you all so much for looking out for me!
